Strength and Virtue Wax Seal Necklace

La raison fait ma force {my strength is my virtue}. Handcrafted using the impression of an 1820's french wax seal. This pendant features an elephant which, in heraldry, signify: great strength, wit and ambition. They are the bearers of kings and queens and, as such, are symbols of royalty, prosperity and power.

This artisan partner of ours traveled the world collecting upon many rare and cherished seals. Each piece of jewelry takes the original meaning from the seal used in its creation, embodying such themes as hope, courage, friendship, love and strength - among many others.  (This artisan, Plum and Posey, is not affiliated with Pyrrha.)
