Skeleton Wax Seal Necklace

Handcrafted using the impression of an early 19th century british wax seal. This pendant features a skeleton in his coffin, long thought to symbolize death, in actuality it is emblematic of life and truth. The skeleton is a pictorial symbol of the latin motto 'memento mori, memento vivere' or 'remember you must die, so remember to live'.

This artisan partner of ours traveled the world collecting upon many rare and cherished seals.
