Guiding Star Wax Seal Necklace

Handcrafted from the impression of a 19th century British wax seal. This pendant features cupid navigating his sailboat by the north star (also known as Polaris). The north star has been used for navigation since antiquity, both to find bearing but also as a focus point for personal direction and grounding.

This artisan partner of ours traveled the world collecting upon many rare and cherished seals. Each piece of jewelry takes the original meaning from the seal used in its creation, embodying such themes as hope, courage, friendship, love and strength - among many others.
