Product Feature of the Week: Tagua Animal Pendant

As some of our most beloved items at Yobel Market, our Tagua Animal Pendants seem to bring joy and delight to the faces of our friends, customers, and staff alike. Adding a touch of class to any ensemble, the gold dipped chain sets off the quirky little characters of each animal. Whether you are running out the door late for work or dressing yourself up for a night on the town, our animal pendants are sure to be eye catching!
These beautiful pendants are hand carved from a nut that is native to the rain forests of Ecuador. Known as "vegetable ivory", Tagua is a sustainable alternative to animal products. Carlos and his friends hand-pick each nut according to the size that will suit each animal, and through a process of hand carving and polishing, these little creatures come to life!
Because of the skills and training that these gentlemen have gained, they are able to competitively sell their items both in their local market, as well as to markets throughout the UK and USA. They are now able to amply provide for their families while living with the dignity and the pride of their accomplishments. What better combo then a splash of glam for you, and whole lot of opportunity for our friends around the world!

Capsuling makes you think twice before impulse buying items like this because you now have higher standards!
